What the planning agent does
Most “AI for planning” answers questions about a schedule. The Nexora Planning Agent also acts on it — through the same entry points the workspace buttons use, so it never runs a second scheduling engine or invents a date.
| Ask | What the agent does | What waits for you |
|---|---|---|
| “Do this month's update” | Reads the progress, stages the rows in the Update tab | Review and Apply |
| “Recover the finish date” | Runs the recovery search, builds the plan in the Recovery tab | Adopting the revised schedule |
| “Register this instruction as a delay event” | Fills the delay register's own form | Creating it (in Approval mode) |
| “What does it do to completion?” | Runs the delay analysis (for example a TIA) on the event | Your review of the result |
After you press Apply
When you apply an update or adopt a recovery, the agent reports what changed — forecast finish and its movement in working days on the project calendar, SPI, activities that became critical, negative float and notices falling due — then carries on with the next step of the plan.
Why it never applies on its own
An applied update files a permanent snapshot, and adopting a recovery replaces the plan. Those cannot be taken back, so they stay the planner's press. The agent prepares; the engineer decides.
Built for planning engineers
It speaks Primavera semantics — data date, retained logic and progress override, total float, schedule versus performance percent — because it reads the programme through the same modules that compute them. Start from a BOQ or an existing P6 XER.
Common questions
What is an AI planning agent?
An assistant that can carry out planning tasks on your schedule — updates, recovery, delay events and analyses — not only answer questions about it.
Can the agent change my schedule without me?
It stages and prepares. Applying an update and adopting a recovery plan are always done by the planner.
Does it work with Primavera P6?
Yes. Import your programme as an XER; the agent works on it in Nexora, and you export back to P6.
Try it on your own programme
Bring a representative work package — a BOQ extract or an XER — and review every assumption with your team.
